Achieves 100% Scope 1 Emissions Offset, and 62% Scope 2 Emissions Offset though Renewable Energy

Singapore, 8 July 2025Princeton Digital Group (PDG), Asia Pacific’s leading data center operator, today announced the release of its 2024-2025 Sustainability Report. The report, titled "Building an AI-Powered Low-Carbon Future", highlights PDG's industry-leading achievements and measurable progress toward its Net Zero commitment across its expanding regional portfolio.

Key achievements highlighted in the 2024-2025 report include:

  • Meeting Net Zero Targets: PDG achieved 100% offset of historical Scope 1 emissions (2022-2024). It also achieved 62% Scope 2 emissions covered through renewable energy procurement, with a Market-Based Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE) of 0.30.
  • Leadership in Sustainable Financing: PDG secured USD 728 million in green loans for projects across Johor, Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo, and Mumbai, by leveraging its comprehensive Green Finance Framework (GFF). The company is committed to ensuring that 100% of financing raised for all greenfield developments is aligned with green or sustainable financing principles.
  • Health and Safety Excellence: PDG achieved a Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) significantly below 1.5 across all sites, reflecting its strong commitment to health and safety. Overall, 100% of PDG’s greenfield data centers are ISO 45001 certified.
  • Renewable Energy Procurement to date: PDG has a 25-year solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) secured from a captive project for its data center in Mumbai and consumes biomass power at its Indonesia data center through a partnership with Cikarang Listrindo in Greater Jakarta. PDG supports its sustainability goals by procuring high-quality, regionally sourced RECs across India, Indonesia, China, and Malaysia. The company is also expanding on-site solar projects with 2,000 panels of 1 MWp installed at SH1, Shanghai and a 688kWp solar rooftop project underway at JH1, Johor.

PDG's 2024-2025 Sustainability Report, developed in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards 2021, details the goals and progress against each of the company's material topics. It features PDG's comprehensive governance structure to enhance transparency and accountability in its sustainability efforts. The 2024 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are externally assured by a reputed third-party audit firm.
